STICK IN THE WHEEL ‘CAN’T STOP’

This is the latest in a string of collaborations between ZEROH and band, Stick in the Wheel, Nicola Kearey and Ian Carter, practising sound artists and founders of experimental folk band Stick in the Wheel.
It is a creepy gothic tragic love story based in a murky 3D version of Hastings town center, a digital ‘other place’ made from found and discarded 3D objects, winding medieval stairways, scanned bric-a-brac and a cast of digital actors.
Villain/ Cat burglar (Jack), featured in the stark animated video for the band’s track ‘Villon Song’, 2021, a barrage of ancient slang phrases morphing characters relentlessly stomping around a gloomy post industrial world.
Here he returns here for a love tragic story.
The prolific cat burglar, has an unfortunate car crash mid chase in Hastings Town centre. He’s already had 8 lucky escapes from death in his long career. Could this be his last? Luckily for Jack, he is discovered by Jacky the love of his life. Jack and Jacky are destined to be together, one way or another …or so they hope……..
